Thinking of hiking the Appalachian trail this summer. We are located just 20 minutes from Chairback Mt. and Gulf Hagas along the final 100 mile stretch. Summer is here!!! But think FALL the leaves will start changing in northern Maine by the end of September, early October!! Lots of great views of the rolling valleys filled with leaves or kick your way through our 50 bright acres!! PS. Please don't leave the doughnuts in the back of your truck overnight or you may find an hungry 250lb hitchhiker in the back come morning. Our Four-Season camp is the perfect place to enjoy the beauty of Northern Maine. In the winter enjoy snowmobiling, cross country skiing and ice fishing or just relax by the fireplace. Located just 15 minutes from Katahdin Iron Works and Jo-Mary public use land the camp is the ideal base to explore the wonders of Gulf Hagas, take a day trip to Mt. Khatadhin or a hike along the Appalachian Trail. In the fall the area abounds with wild game including deer, moose and bear. The cabin is located on a secluded road and has private access to ITS snowmobile trail and 4-wheeling routes.
