We had a wonderful time at the cabin. John, thank you for the offer to stay the extra day due to snow. We did not need it though. We made it home safely. The monogrammed hats were a very personal touch! We loved them. We saw an owl out the bathroom window. He had roosted on the tree between the house and the barn. He was SO cool to see! A little freaky actually. He was larger than I though a owl would be. I am sure that you might be aware of the "tenant" that you have in the attic---He was no problem to us!---Just wanted to make you aware that there is a critter in the attic. I know that they can do alot of damage if they want. There are numerous local trails. It would have been nice to have a map of all the little trails w/i Brownsville. The trails were in good shape. Once we got to the ITS trails, we had a blast! Gene was helpful in giving us hints as to were to go! He wished that he could have ridden w/ us, but it was too cold for him---Too cold for us also--but we went w/ our heated gear and we were NEVER cold. Gene told us that one night hit -24 at his house. BURR! I never felt it. The cabin was nice and warm when we returned. The shower was warm w/ good water pressure. The full bed was VERY comfortable. Thank you once again for your hospitality. We will keep your camp in mind when we travel to ME again to snowmobile.
